what is a fanlisting?

"A fanlisting is an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject."

about nebulae 

Nebulae (sing. Nebula) are regions made up of dust and gases scattered throughout space. Because of the make-up of nebulae, they are considered to be ideal places for star formation. However, it is interesting to note that nebulae could also be formed out of the remnant gases of a dying star.

Most nebulae appear as indefinite clouds, but there are some that could have a definite shape. The individual make-up of gases, combined with some physics, strongly influence the structure and colors of a nebula, often producing spectacular results.

The making of "Misted Radiance" 

The fanlisting's name is derived from the etymology of the word nebula, which means mist in Latin. The main image is a shot of the Orion nebula taken by Hubble, while the background image of the paragraph headers features the Carina nebula, also taken by Hubble. Majority of the site's images came from The Hubble Heritage Project, and I do not claim ownership of them.
